Yung Iee Green Materials was honored to participate in the Plastic Waste Management Capacity-Building Workshop organized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
During the workshop, we exchanged practical experience in plastic recycling and recycled material applications with government representatives, recycling organizations, and industry stakeholders from the Caribbean region. As a company engaged in recycled material processing and application, we joined the international dialogue on advancing the circular economy.
From Recycling to Products
At the workshop, Let’s Recycle in St. Kitts and Nevis shared how their local recycling program operates. They presented the process of collecting, sorting, and processing plastic waste, and explained how these materials are transformed into reusable shopping bags, T-shirts, and recycled raw materials.
Through physical samples and real case examples, participants were able to clearly understand how plastic waste can be converted step by step into usable products within a recycling system.
During the event, Yung Iee Green Materials also shared Taiwan’s practical experience in post-processing, quality consistency, and mass production applications of recycled plastics. We contributed to discussions on how recycling and remanufacturing systems can operate more effectively across regions.
Advancing International Circular Economy Cooperation
Through case sharing and cross-border dialogue, the workshop strengthened understanding of plastic resource circulation and recycled material applications. Discussions focused on how different regions can build practical and scalable recycling and remanufacturing systems.
Yung Iee Green Materials will continue to participate in international cooperation as a processor and supplier of recycled materials. By connecting Taiwan’s experience in recycled plastics and process management with global partners, we aim to provide stable and practical material solutions for the circular economy.
